The Silver Spur Club is a family oriented equine organization and is located in Kitsap County on the Olympic Peninsula.  We are in between Silverdale and Bremerton, with a close proximity to Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Kingston and Seabeck.  Our facility hosts a variety of events such as Barrel Racing,

Western Games,  Performance, Mini Club Jumping,   Jr. Rodeo and Dressage.  Stop on by and check us out.

Silver Spur Club – On site Caretakers Job Description


Looking for an on-Site individual or couple team preferable with some experience in similar situation as a caretaker or in property management.  

Duties include grounds keeping and lawn care equipment maintenance.  Must be able to work in unsupervised situations.   Have experience in or comfortable learning to operate and maintain other grounds equipment such as the water truck and tractor.   Need to have some mechanical skills with tools, landscaping, fence repair, and housekeeping.

Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of clubhouse and adjacent grounds.

Ability to understand and communicate both orally and in writing with the Board of Directors.

General oversite of the grounds and monitoring of people on the grounds.   Able to communicate frequently and clearly with members and non-members on the grounds.   Enforcement of club and property rules.

Essential to have a flexible work schedule, valid driver’s license, no criminal record or outstanding warrants and be drug free.

Proven work history of trustworthiness, reliability and working with minimal supervision required.
